i'm flying overseas tonight at 9.. will be gone till the 16th of july.. heading over to cold cold newzealand.. i'm sure e frostiness will be a welcome respite from e heat here, esp since i wun get to play tennis over there.. ;)

alrite.. wimbledon coverage has stopped.. so yeah, i'm blogging. geez, i'm aching all over from snowboarding lessons in snowcity ytd... left me so tired!! it didn't help tt i was kinda sick too.. which was why i didn't join e rest for lunch... ;) anw, after lunch they came over to my place, cuz got free parking, then they came up to my new house to play xbox.. haha. audrey took pix of the view cuz she thought it was nice, and i locked her out on the balcony.. :P

anw, this is my new dog! its very perverted one.. ok, no, its really weili's dog, but its still perverted..

we went IMM for dinner, and lynette and audrey being photowhorish! i never thought i could meet a person more photowhorish than audrey, but audrey has met her match! and they are both from the WEE clan as lynette pointed out.. :p

snowboarding is really fun once u get the hang of it... though i must say, i went a lil crazy after beeing able to balance.. i just went as fast as i could, too fast - such tt when i fall, i really just crash and tt's not too good for my body.. ;) lynette was also going at a suicidal pace, though she was skiing. i remember once where she went so fast, she went down e slope, then up a small one, then came reversing backwards with her butt facing me.. what a shock i got!! but it was hilarious.. and she screams so loud everytime.. LOL

yeah, but being pigs, we all went for supper anw.. all e easties at least, so minus mich and fish, but aud went anw, cuz her dad was working in changi and could pick her up.. it was nice not driving for once... :) weili drove his parent's BMW.. shoik, no need to get agitated by irritating pple.. weili was actually quite a slow and safe driver, till e point it almost irritated me too.. LOL, felt like snatching e wheel! but then he shocked me by making a scary U turn when e cars were coming quite fast, and then, at nite, this guy tried to cut his lane, then he honked and honked him.. then, they ended up at the same junction, and i said, u wun honk him rite?? he said, no, honk for what?? then he proceeded to flash headlights.. o.O i swear we are terrors on the roads.. LOL

so today, i rested my aching and battered body at home.. but i still played tennis with yihan in the end, though for the first 30mins, i could barely move... :x

there is laziness to blog.. even though, i like blogging.. :)

class outing.. jc one, turn out was excellent! minus, mag (who was supposed to come?!), lin ming, hs and kah hua (overseas), daniel and jl (not sure why)..

so tt's pretty amazing.. too bad, we didn't think to invite e teachers... ( i suddenly just remembered we should've!)

anw, we were at claire's place.. the new place she's gonna move into.. Horizon Towers, i really old place, but like all old condos, e apartments are huge!! impressive.. :) oh, i got a stupid ticket in e condo..

after we finished bbq dinner, we went for supper... :o so piggish.. went to geylang for you tiao and dou jiang! YUMMY! not before mich got lost, cuz she couldn't follow me and wk - apparently, i'm not good to follow cuz i do many illegal things on e road.. :/ ah, whatever la.

i was greeted by - "da ge, yao bu yao an mo?? lai ba!" after i got off my car erps..

we actually had e situation of having too many cars, 4 lor.. we didn't even have tt many pple.. lol.

my food and wanping's.. we were the most greedy one.. buy so much.. but i finished it anw.. :D

yups, tt was 1 gluttony nite.. and the nite b4, it was kinda just as bad... ;)

sat was tennis at yihan's place, which was royally screwed up. i left my house, and was on the PIE, only to get a call from yihan. it was fortunate i picked up my phone even though i didn't connect my headset, cuz he was at my place - thanks to someone who didn't tell yihan it was supposed to be at his place. haha. so i had to exit and rush back to pick him up to go back to his place... not a nice thing to do!! :/ bah..

after tennis and lunch, cm n yihan n i went to watch king and the clown.. yuan refused to watch it cuz he is 1 dimensional and wants to watch over the hedge... lol. ok, whatever, so it was quite a good movie, and kinda touching in a way.. should catch it if you have time.. :)

after the movie, i discovered i had a parking fee of $10.. yay! and then, i went to east coast with nick and weili for dinner.. yummy.. the food center there has damn a lot of nice food, albeit super long queues, so we didn't really bother with e ones with long queues. we had rojak, some mutton thing, rotti john, sting ray, and some other foods, i kinda forgot, but basically, it was a lot.. and it was v nicel.. and not tt ex actually.. :D i shall go back there on a weekday and enjoy next time! yum!

wanted to bowl and pool but no space.. BAH! so we wasted half an hour walking.. boohoo. good exercise after tt meal though.. ;)

let's see, other days - thurs, ra and shi came over to play topspin2, shi outclassed ra and kept laughing at ra.. haha. well, deservedly so i might add ;)

wed, went out with dunno who, and went yihan's place in e evening for tennis

fri, went out with cheryl for lunch (she treated me!!), walked around as she bought a watch, and then went out with my family..

so tt's all in my life.. yawn! :)

just got more mail from chicago uni.. it just makes me realise how much i wanted to go there actually.. well, i only applied to 4 unis in the US, including cornell (which i never had the intention of attending).. so.. it was a long thought out thing... and the other 3, i really wanted to go give it shot.

i had always intended to do business there, and point is, i needed a scholarship, one which i never got... :/ PSC was surprised tt i wanted to apply for business, yet had applied for med.. and EDB was positive i should be doing med, and not econs too (based on my 'track record').. wth. i wish i had tried to apply for more scholarships.. bah. am hating myself right now... :(

i dunno what is the point of this post, but i guess, i'm just annoyed right now. arrgh, and esp, seeing this stupid ad makes me even more pissed. the girl is bloody rejecting UPenn and chicago business sch for NUS... ROTFL.. WTH!!! those are 2 of the top 3 business schs in the USA.. the package i got from chicago was so much nicer compared to the 1 letter shit i got from NUS.. and no, i'm not being superficial.. chicago sends first class mail all the time to its foreign students.. and NUS can't be bothered abt its students at all.. bah. there is just no comparison...

and i must commend the singapore association there.. they're really active and have so many events.. its just too bad i never got a chance to be a part of it.

random stuffs from all over..

firstly, please watch the film, C.R.A.Z.Y. its really good, trust me, much better than cars, which i watched and found it to be generally boring, and yawn worthy. I caught C.R.A.Z.Y. at the singapore film festival earlier in the year, and it obviously got a good response, hence made it to the cinemas here.. and truly, i feel its the best movie i've watched all year - and i've watched ALOT.. ;)

got the photos from the photoshoot from magwoman.. hmmm, its not tt nice... ;) but at least i get some money!! yay.. the mag is given free at some exhibition, not sold... :P shall not post the pix though.. haha.

went kboxing, actually, partyworldktving with my classmates. ordered a bevy of colorful drinks, pink, green, white, brown, yellow.. all tt was missing was black and blue!! think yx, kwuang yew and me got more than our fair share of songs cuz claire and pc didn't quite know so many songs.. haha. all the impossibly high notes left us squeaking towards the end, with crackled and croaky voices to top it of.. ;)

and long long ago, we went rollerblading at east coast. 2nd time i've rollerbladed, still suck at it. i look like a coconut tree rolling around cuz e blades add so much height, but no width, and my hair splays out like e leaves on the tree. ok, tt's not really e point, but the point is, probably tt my CG is too high, so i fall! ;) but ok, i managed to fall only once, and zp, out did himself, by arriving with cuts before we even rollerbladed.. -.-" and it didn't help he fell lotsa times when we started rollerblading too.. -.-" hmmm, this picture sums it up - a dismayed zp, sitting on the grass where he fell. LOL

yeah.. we were tired, took 1h to skate to bedok jetty.. :P

finished the day with katong laksa, and lazying ard at weili's house.. though... it took really long to get down to katong laksa due to much... ... logistics problems. ;)

oh, this is a pix of nick from dunno when, when he had to do wine tasting, cuz we went out with joon loong and zp, and he turned red instantly.. LOL. and he was clutching and hugging his darling sword he just bought... :X and the rumours are true!! jl is a lil pudgy now.. LOL.. ermmm, i hope no one says anything n he doesn't ever see this.. :o

finally, managed to snag a copy of topspin 2 off the shelves of challenger.. its quite fun, having a great time trying to crave out a career.. hoho. had my first lost though after i made way too many errors. typical ;)

today was yuanhong's sister (samantha's) wedding.. so me, cm and yihan were invited.. yes, yihan is back in sg.. ;) was at M Hotel, quite a nice place, and the banquet hall had a really nice setting. at first, i thought i was greeted by movie posters, and i was wondering, eh, their wedding sponsored by some up and coming film called "358 days"?? hmmm, there were like 4 different posters, too bad i didn't take picture.. haha. but after the whole wedding lunch thing, as i had more time to look at the posters, i discovered tt it was actually posters of their wedding invites.. haha, and 358 days was the number of days they have been dating. and yihan also suggested tt 358 in cantonese sounds like samantha.. LOL. interesting how they get married after 358 days, while some pple i know date for 3-7 years and then break up.. big difference there.


somehow, we got seated at the VIP table, to yihan's great delight.. and we get to look at roses.. ;) no la, but the view of everything is great!

then, after dinner started, yuanhong decided to be vv clutsy. he first knocked down his own wineglass, thankfully, empty, then he attacked yihan's teacup, and left the massive stain, which eventually spread to my side. devious ploy, he doesn't look clutzy, and yihan does now.. :/ then, he dropped his spoon LOUDLY on his plate... hmm. then this hilarious waitress served us. first we asked for rootbeer, and she served us beer. then, we said, no, and changed it to 2 oranges and a coke, 1 for yuan, 1 for me, 1 for yihan, and yunahong summed it up for her, and she then brought, 2 oranges for yuan... -.-"

sometimes, i just feel like, i'm kinda interested in too many things, tt it becomes impossible to keep up with everything!

like music, threatre, movies, technology, games, tv, and just, people! its like there's always so many things to entertain oneself with, i can never understand how people can feel bored... :P

oh sighs, i wish i have a way to stretch my time, like hermione!

haha, ok, long overdue post.. and be warned, its gonna be FILLED with pictures... ;)

firstly, this event is the 'class' gathering we had to celebrate mich's and pc's bday.. kinda small turnout cuz most pple are overseas atm.. except the poor pple left.. ;) haha

well, it was mighty fun anyhow... with much photowhoring.. ;) so this is the food.. we ate at werner's oven, somewhere in the east, siglap area - for once we could justify an outing there cuz 5/6 pple live ard e area... :P

the food was german, so you had yr typical roast pork knuckles, smoked beef, sausages, etc. really salty and strong meaty flavours, not exactly my type of cuisine.. haha. part of the reason y i dun like visiting germany... ;)

after tt, we went to a cheese cake cafe for cakes and desserts. first and foremost, the place was gorgeous.. great ambience, comfy sofas, and just a v v nice setting for relaxing.. :)

yup, we ordered a strawberry cheesecake, and it was really yummy.. one of the best cheesecakes i've had, at a price though.. haha

we had left over cakes.. so we packed them in many boxes to bring home.. and aaron and wk trying to pose with the boxes ;)

well, today, i had lunch with HS, 2 lunches actually, one with my parents first, when we went to harvey norman to collect my new ixus 800 IS so i can photowhore nice pix... ;) i love it.. v nice to use, too bad it doesn't have a wide angle lens!! haha.. but still, great pix.. and good design, fast load speed.. etc etc.. ;)

(really, its not due to my pathetic short term memory), incidently, short term memory is memory tt lasts 20s, so no one tell me tt u use yr short term memory for exam again pls! haha.

below is the game.. i'm DAMN unlucky la, keep doing stupid things.. attacking at the wrong times.. haha.. thought the odds were usually on my side, still, i managed a 2nd, so not bad. too bad i didn't get smirking rites.. haha.

then, we played halli pallenti, this building game.. sh is in the background, concentrating REAL hard.. haha. well.. we seemed, only interested in determining the loser, not the winner.. haha.

then this is the all time fav, I'M THE BOSS! sounds like my sec sch class monitor and vice and treasury determining who is the boss of the day.. ;) but anw, it turned out really unexpectedly, i totally expected kat and shi to have done well cuz they seem to have done many deals! but in the end, it was the big cuts i took in the end, tt propelled me to victory, over ra surprisingly.. 64m to 45m!! haha.. landslide! :P (oh no, so hao lian)

ok, then after settlers, we wanted bowling, but then all the lanes were used! so we ended up at this place called lilliputt, an obvious pun of lilliput i think.. (yes, yet another minigolf place)

here are the many many golfing stations.. v fun, and cute.. all the things have moving parts, and some are quite challenging! :P

then the guy helped me print a cert cuz i did a hole in one.. haha, so nice... :D

then we played photo find.. and we almost beat the high score.. should've beaten it actually.. but we made some mistakes.. haha. and yes, sh the bitch decided to put the high score as bitch.. o.O

rainy days spoil my plans... :( so now, tt the rain has spoilt my plans for tennis, i guess i shall just wait for tennis to be shown on TV instead... :P n meanwhile, upload some long overdue photos (including really bad ones of itkz while he is away and can't kill me) and catch up on MANY half read books (abandoned due to laziness and lack of time).

BROTH it is called - bar restaurant on the hill. its damn good the food, everyone agreed... and thanks mich for treating us.. ;)

this game we played, dedrick brought it along.. he made us take this shot cuz its like he finished putting all e pieces and won CONVINCINGLY. whatever.. i was busy trying the appetitizers while he was so engaged in his game.. :p notice the photo above and below - its actually e same photo but i photoshopped it to reduce the effects of the flash.. haha, pro rite? ;)

appetitzers - foie gras (ok, this was realllyy reallly good, one of the best i've eaten. not really a fan of foie gras, but this was really something else), baby quail and pannae ham. my main course - squid ink pasta with king prawns (really really yummy!), and rack of lamb (i forgot the fancy name.. haha)

roasted pumpkin tart with dunno what, pork cutlet with walnut apple salad (really loved the salad, tasted really unique), sirlion steak and i forgot what else there was. the food was really really good, unfortunately, not the pictures.. can't do much with photoshop when e pictures are so bad... :/

deserts.. oh, these were heavenly!! creme brulee with pear wine, apple something, sticky date pudding with walnuts, and the really white thing is my favourite.. the pavalova.. :q guess the reason for the bad pictures were cuz no one wanted to wait b4 we devoured them.. all gone in a few short mins.. savages, hungry ones we are!!

and then i return to my car to discover tickets. dedrick is so amused cuz its the first one he got after cheating ura for so long.. me? not so thrilled cuz it kinda seals my status as a unfortunate soul when it comes to parking. damn, i left the parking lot at 6.30, put coupons for 7, and the attendant came at 6.36pm. o.O and tt's after annalisa told me she say the parking attendant going down the hill, AND the car nearby having a ticket dated 4.52pm.. what were e chances?? -.-?

after tt dinner, we went to max brenner's.. unbelievable pigginess... :/
